Carnie Caps can be used in vertical, inclined & horizontal applications, by placing a length of lumber between two Carnie Caps spaced at up to eight foot intervals along a line of exposed rebar.   Correctly installed, the Carnie Cap system will withstand a 250-pound weight dropped from 10ft without the rebar protruding, thus considerably reducing the possibility of impalement.
